Our Bombardier Thailand office is seeking suitably qualified candidates to assume the role of:

GOPC BUYER - Spanish or Italian Speaking (3 positions)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

GOPC Buyer is responsible to supporting project buyer/demand planner for all

clerical procurement works as well as to centralize procurement operation to

improve quality and compliance by standardization of processes.

KEY RESULT AREAS:

- Assist buyer to handle Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) both project
- based and manufacturing based sites in timely manner and in compliance to
- Bombardier?s standard Procurement procedure.
- Follow up Order Acknowledgement and Material Expediting of all POs placed to suppliers
- to ensure right material delivery at the right time.
- Maintain material master data and related information e.g. price, lead time, supplier etc.
- into ERP systems.
- Assist buyer to request necessary information, quotation to different suppliers and making
- basic analysis accordingly.
- Verify invoice related to Purchase Order prior to making payment.
- Complete weekly report, monthly report and Procurement KPI.
- Analyse KPI data and cascade to all relevant parties to trigger root cause and
- improvement actions.
- Support buyer all clerical and administrative jobs as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in any field
- At least 1 year of working experience preferably in purchasing.
- Exposure to shared services/IT/transportation industry would be an added advantage
- Ability to speak in Spanish or in Italian
- Fluency in written and conversational English and Thai is also expected.
- Ability to communicate simply and effectively at all levels and in particular across regions
- Presentable, enthusiastic and trustworthy.
- Flexible and able to work accurately to deadlines
- Ability to work in multi cultural environment
- Able to work on a 1 year contract with the possibility of contract renewal.
- On the job training, coaching and internal/external training provided
- Computer skills in SAP, Lotus Notes, Baan and Excel
