Purpose

The IS Platform Manager for PM is the individual that will drive the Digitalization agenda for Project Management. The person will be an expert on IT Digitalization solutions and will work closely with the business organizations to identify opportunities, select solutions and implement them with the goals to either create business process efficiency. The selected Digital solutions will be either part or integrated into the Project Management platform (Primavera) and it will the accountability of this job to manage its full life cycle. The person will be in charge to integrate the digital solution within the BT environment and will work closely with the IS Business Architects to ensure the end to end solution performance and integration.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the IS Digitalization agenda in Project Management – 50%

· Drive QTC to improve process efficiency in Project management

§ Ensure functional efficiency through digital solutions

§ Dominates the Digitalisation Platform for Project Management

§ Drives decisions with the business and develop business values for decision making with sponsors.

§ Work with the Accelerator Program to identify and develop and maintain a start-up network for Project management

§ Connect start-up with BT Functions and Divisions for digitalization solutions

§ Identify Digitalization technologies and solutions (SaaS) from the market that can bring value to Project management

§ Active contributor of Digitalization activities with Group Project Management and divisions

§ Drive Digitalization culture change to use data and tools within Manufacturing Operation

§ Document and maintain Digitalisation Product solutions

Collaborate closely with the business on Digitalization topics - 40%

· Dominates the Digitalisation solutions for Project management

• Generate new business ideas, models, apps through accelerator program with Start-ups

• Strong knowledge of the market solutions and frequent interaction with external parties to assess new Digital solutions based on cloud technologies (SaaS)

• Responsible to identify and implement target Aps, and be able to integrate them in the overall IS landscape.

• Work with the start-up to develop proof of concept

• Supports/influences sourcing for Digital solutions

• Supports project teams during Digital project implementation.

• Interacts with Business Analysts and Business Architects on new Digital solutions.

• Interacts with Application and Technical Architects to implement and support Digital solutions.

Define a Digital Bet and drive decision - 10%

• Document Digital Bet with business collaboration

• Understand and calculates benefits of new digitalization solutions

• Support approval process

Qualifications

Qualifications

Good understanding of Project Management market, technical solutions and their capabilities

Drive the identification and definition of BT’s PM standard solutions and how to integrate them in the current environment.

Leading working groups to align towards standardization of PM Platform and Digitalization

Support make or buy decisions for PM solutions

Based on an good understanding of BT’s PM digitalization roadmap, he / she will become an authority and lead in this field

Strong insight in BT’s organization by close collaboration with PM business community

By close interaction with IS architects of other domains he / she will gain deep insights to other BT architecture areas, like Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Engineering.

Direct interaction with senior executives in IT and business; actively involved in management of business stakeholders

University Degree in Computer Science or related study, or equivalent experience

Typically minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in Project Management solutions, technologies and processing environment.

The candidate must be passionate by Digitalization technologies and familiar to their implementation and usage.

Working experience: New technologies, Applications, Infrastructure, Business Relationship Management or in the Division or Function

Excellent Manufacturing / Industry branch background with business areas of Planning & Manufacturing.

Leadership

Able to lead Technologies or Functional improvements in complex environment.

Strong understanding of the Digitalization market and technologies.

Strong IT knowledge with experience in various implementation projects

Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies

Experience working with different business process models and frameworks

Strong leadership and people change management skills to drive and accompany Digitalization change

Basic knowledge of financial models and budgeting

Understanding of the political climate of the enterprise, and how to respond to political challenges

Fluency in English is mandatory.

Available and willing to travel (up to 30%)
