We are currently looking to recruit for a Operational project Governance (m/f)

at our location in Berlin

The Operational project Governance (m/f) owns and ensures operational alignment of IS Projects. Identifies relevant projects and drives in alignment with the Project Managers for these Projects that they plan. Performs their activities in line with the operational processes in due time and high quality to achieve stable operations. Manages the operational transition of these projects towards a smooth handover, captures open topics and drives them with the projects to closure. Manages the Infrastructure Demand project from a financial, organizational and delivery perspective.

YOUR TASKS

- Assess and understand Projects and their work packages regarding implications/impacts towards IS Operations

- Liaise with Project Managers to have the projects adhering to operational processes like change management, knowledge management etc.

- Steer and support the operational transition for these projects as per the defined procedures

- Activate support models and help in implementing these Support Models

- Review existing support models, identify weaknesses, define correction actions and implement them

- Manage the Infrastructure Demand Project from a financial, quality, delivery and timeline perspective

- Engage other teams in the implementation, track their efforts and manage their delivery and performance

- Resilience regarding escalations handling and business acumen to understand business priorities

Qualifications

- University Degree in Computer Science, Economics or similar

- 5 years+ IS/IT experience

- Deep understanding of Operations Frameworks, like ITIL, understanding of infrastructure and applications technologies and their lifecycle

- Deep understanding of the interaction in Group IS, counterparts, roles and responsibilities

- Experience in a large IS/IT estate

- Working with a highly-outsourced team, mostly off-shore

- Strong understanding of Operations, Infrastructure, Applications and Business Services and their interdependencies

- Fluent in English
