What are your contributions to the team?

•    Develop, manage, and implement corporate security programs to ensure the reliability and efficiency of security measures for Bombardier sites located in Queretaro, Chihuahua, San José (Costa Rica) and business operations covering LATAM America.
•    Establish partnerships and mechanisms to exercise vigilance regarding security risks and threats that could impact Bombardier.
•    Build and maintain working relationships with government agencies responsible for establishing security provisions and requirements and with security intelligence and law enforcement agencies.
•    Execute Open-Source Intelligence collection and analysis to support investigations, due diligence, and crisis management.
•    Oversight of incident identification, remediation/mitigation, and reporting.
•    Assess the risks and threats, determine their level, and provide the appropriate recommendations to the leadership team.
•    Lead and support security investigations, when justified, in collaboration with the Internal Investigation Team.
•    Ensure CTPAT Program compliance.
•    Support the Travel Security Program during incidents or emergencies and conduct travel security briefings and analysis.
•    Create and supervise budgets for assigned sites.
•    Develop and implement site-specific and global security policies, directives, and procedures in conjunction with applicable stakeholders and practices for the manufacturing and operational needs of the Company.
•    Evaluate and revise security protocols.
•    Manage security policies and training programs for assigned sites.
•    Implement and coordinate the BER (Bombardier Emergency Response) plan for assigned sites. 
•    Manage and develop a reliable pre-employment/criminal background security investigation.
•    Lead and support the employees and executives protection program for Mexico and assigned regions.
 

This position is based at our Queretaro site in Mexico. You will be part of the Global Security Team and report to the Director, Global Security.

How to thrive in this role?

•   You have a university degree and relevant experience in the field of security.
•   You have a ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), certifications or other industry-related certifications an asset.
•   You have more than 10 years of experience in a corporate global security department. 
•   You have more than 5 years of experience in personnel and financial management.
•   You have an extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) 
•   You have a thorough knowledge of security-related systems (access control, closed circuit television, interior and exterior intrusion detection). 
•   You have knowledge of risk and threat analysis methodology.
•   You have strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
•   You have thorough knowledge of local and international security processes and standards.
•   You have a solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently manage priorities.
•   You have excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, spoken and written. 
•    You have the ability to be discreet and ensure confidentiality. 
•    You are flexible with regards to your availability. 
•    You have leadership skills and the ability to unify a team.
•    You have the team spirit, leadership acumen, and sense of innovation needed to be effective. 
•    You have project management skills
•    You have strong negotiation skills and an ability to assert your influence.
•    You have an established network in various intelligence agencies.
•    You are familiar with the latest innovative security solutions.
•    You have thorough knowledge of Executive and Employees Protection program.
