Physical Integration Electrical Team Leader (m/f)

Description:

The Physical Integration Electrical Team Leader’s main responsibility will be to set up basic concepts based on the Bid data and input from the physical integration lead engineer, guide and follow-up of the designers and senior designers and validate their work.

Key responsibilities:

• Go through all information of Bids Engineering and customer specifications which relate to his part.

• Retrieve and manage the required information from suppliers and System Engineering

• Prepare and weekly follow up a detailed plan for all team members and assure a daily proper reporting from the team on activities progress, to be reported to the Lead Engineer with potential issues identification according to plan

• Follow up the design work ,adjust the basic concept if necessary starting from the information received from the designer and/or physical integration lead engineer

• Prepare Design Reviews (internal + external):

o Explain the concept

o Verification if the concept is consistent with to the offered information

o Follow up open Design Reviews items

• Validation of the 3D-models drawn up by the designer towards concept and validation of the 2D-drawings made by the designer inclusive for the off shore work.

• Enter new ideas in order to meet the requirements of the aspect ‘design to cost’

• Support the Work package leader in the follow up of external work packages

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical-Mechanical Engineering

• Good electrical and mechanics knowledge

• Min. 5 years of experience in electrical design engineering in the railway industry ideally or in similar industries ( e.g. automotive, aerospace)

• Leadership skills, planning skills, problem solving skills

• Capacity to work in a structured environment, follow the processes and procedures

• Ability to work with remote teams

• Knowledge of CATIA EHI, MS Office (Word, Excel, Ppt)

• French and English – Fluent;
