Physical Integration Interiors Lead Engineer (m/f)


The Physical Integration Interiors Lead Engineer’s main responsibility will be to co-ordinate the concept team co-ordinators and draftsman designers for interior (e.g. seats, heating floor, ceiling, sidewall, partitions, technical pillar, luggage rack, Interiors / Passenger comfort), while collecting the technical information for employees and composing technical and functional order specifications (by means of customer specifications and valid standards), being in contact with the system suppliers. He/she will also manage the work package (preparation, follow-up, validation) with different internal or external partners.

Key responsibilities:

- Maximises the team management by understanding the underlying needs and motivations of others
- Goes through all contractual documents , Bid Engineering information, standards and norms and procedures
- Compose technical and functional order specifications, calculations and additional scopes, test procedures and reports, within the required quality
- Technical follow-up of: supplies and systems integration, planning and project start-up of documents with the Concept Team Coordinators
- Checks the norms and customer specifications and the cost included during the design phase in order to be able to come up to the budget expectations
- Validates the drawings made by the draughtsman designer, with regard to customer specifications, and passing them on to technical documentation
- Coordinates the Design Reviews (internal and external) + creation of report with action points for the persons concerned (internal, external-suppliers & customers)
- Manages work packages: creation, follow-up, validation; ensures the cost, quality and delivery of work packages.


- Master degree in Engineering;
- 10 years of experience in physical integration (e.g. interiors / passenger comfort) in the railway industry ideally or in a similar industry( automotive, aerospace);
- Experience in transversal management;
- Strong analytic and synthesis skills;
- Good communication skills, team work, problem solving skills;
- Autonomous;
- Knowledge of Catia V5, SAP, PDM;
- French and English – Fluent;
