Based at our site in Crespin, we are currently looking to recruit a:

Physical Integration Interiors Team Leader (m/f)


The Physical Integration Interiors Team Leader's main responsibility will be to set up basic concepts based on the Bid data and input from the physical integration lead engineer. He/she will guide and follow-up of the senior designers and designers and validate their work.

Key responsibilities:

- Go through all information of Bids Engineering and customer specifications and norms which relate to his part

- Retrieve the required information from suppliers and System Engineering.

- Draw up and weekly follow up detail planning per senior designer and designer.

- Follow up the design work. Adjust the basic concept if necessary starting from the information received from the (external) designer and/or lead engineer. Check the respect of the design for manufacturing.

- Prepare Design Reviews (internal + external):

- Explain the concept

- Verification if the concept is consistent with to the offered information

- Follow up open Design Reviews items

- Validation of the 3D-models drawn up by the designer towards concept and validation of the 2D-drawings made by the designer inclusive for the off shore work.

- Enter new ideas in order to meet the requirements of the aspect ‘design to cost’

- Support the Lead Engineer in the follow up of external work packages


- Bachelor degree in (Electro-)Mechanical Engineering

- Min.3 till 5 years in mechanical design or min.2 years in railway design.

- Knowledge of (Electrical-)Mechanical Integration

- Skills to pilot a small team (4-6 persons) and to communicate with different departments.

- Notions of Engineering Planning

- Problem solving skills;

- Knowledge of Catia V5, SAP, PDM;

- French and English – Fluent;
