We are currently looking to recruit a Bid Planner EMEA, located in Derby, UK

YOUR ROLE
Bids, budget and resource planning for EMEA all bids ensuring efficient use of resource and Work Packages management with Product Engines and other EMEA/Global functions.

YOUR TASKS
Create, review and maintain a bids plan
• Liaise with global sales and bid management community to understand date changes and (consolidate) incorporate into overall EMEA bids plan
• Identify and communicate changes, risks, assumptions and constraints of EMEA bid management to HoBM and EMEA management
• Work with product engine and other global functions planning teams to incorporate their resource planning into overall plan, communicate any misalignment or risks
Work package and budget management
• Develop WP management on all EMEA bids vs approved bid budget
• Develop & maintain WP sharing across EMEA bid organization including QCT performance reporting
• Investigate and implement low cost WP transfer with HoF bids
Governance
• Set up and manage a regular governance review system to assure an accurate plan at all times
• Escalate issues in a timely manner - regular reporting to EMEA management
• Contribute information to enable executive reporting
• Alignment on EMEA bid performance with group bid approval

Qualifications

Education
• College Higher level qualification/University degree, preferably in Engineering or Business or
• Tertiary qualification and good Bid Project & Programme Planning & scheduling experience.
• Additional qualifications in planning & scheduling tools are an advantage
Relevant experience required (i.e. directly linked to the requirements of the position)
• Good knowledge of Primavera Planning Software
• Typically minimum 5-8 years of experience in relevant roles
• Past or current working experience in Project Planning, Engineering and/or Manufacturing Operations,
• Has experience in working in a multicultural environment with international teams
• Worked on Bids/Tender/Projects in similar business areas - Railways, Oil & Gas, Ship building, Energy Generating or Turbine Installations
• Planning experience on complex projects and programmes
