We are currently looking to recruit a PROJECT MANAGER - RISK & OPPORTUNITY IMPROVEMENT (M/F) for our site in Derby

YOUR ROLE

The Project Risk, Opportunity and Improvement Manager is responsible for leading the Project Core Team in identifying, presenting and mitigating potential risks and suggesting improvement opportunities that could impact the customer and/or other parties. He/she will conduct workshops with external parties when appropriate.

YOUR TASKS
• Conduct day-to-day follow up on the Project Improvement and the Risks and Opportunity Strategy
• Ensure that Risk Management Workshops and Project Improvement Sessions are run and attended regularly
• Ensure assessment of risks, opportunities and improvements with the Project Core Team
• Follow up on implementation of risk, opportunity and improvement actions
• Lead monthly risk management activities
• Lead and facilitate the development and direction of the project improvement program, including inter-divisional dimensions
• Ensure risk provision for interdivisional risks are coordinated between the divisions
• Report to project financial controller to revise risk provision and total provision as required

Qualifications

• Fluent in English
• Project Management qualification highly desirable
• Strong experience in a relevant role within an industrial background
• Relevant working experience either in Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, Bids, Sales or Finance
• International experience desirable
• Very good communication and influencing others abilities
• Relevant experience and proven successful track record on projects
