What are your contributions to the team?

  • Perform complex analyses of coupled fluid-heat transfer CFD, pipe network flow, heat transfer and thermodynamics
  • Understand and frame the CFD results within the context of the design and right sizing of an aircraft
  • Prepare test plans
  • Document analysis, ground and flight test results
  • Write and update Engineering practice documents
     

How to thrive in this role?

  • You have a Master’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. 
  • (Including fluid mechanics, heat transfer, in-flight icing, heat transfer and CFD analyses)
  • You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in complex CFD analyses (coupled fluid & heat transfer) with combined internal and external flows.
  • You have a minimum of 2 years of experience with pipe network analyses and Inlets and outlet design.
  • Self-motivated and innovative team player.
  • You have a good knowledge of MS Office software (advanced level for Excel)
  • You are familiar with programming, complex codes and interfacing with an HPC
  • (Unix Operating System and with programming languages such as Fortran 77/95, Visual Basic, C/C++ & Python is an asset)
  • You possess good interpersonal skills as well as good written and oral communication skills 
  • Willing to travel for short term assignments
