In your role, you will

 

  • Manage detailed plans related to the activities of the Research and Technology Laboratory, including the design, planning, logistics of parts and equipment and the performance of tests.
  • Provide support to engineering teams, business and academic partners in establishing the scope, timeline and budget of strategic technology testing programs.
  • Manage the computer park and the inventory of equipment/instruments.
  • Manage the physical and IT infrastructure of the laboratory in collaboration with the Material Organization and Information Technology departments.
  • Coordinate change management and configuration management activities for ground test stands and flight test vehicles for the EcoJet project.
  • Provide nomenclature and engineering data services support for the EcoJet project.
  • Order purchased and manufactured parts, and equipment and manage receiving and shipping.
  • Ensure the security of the laboratory by managing access and compliance with confidentiality rules for strategic technology projects and controlled goods, in collaboration with Industrial Security.
  • Follow-up of the technical launch (drawings and specifications), prepare and provide visibility for budget requirements as well as the allocation and forecasting of resources in collaboration with the project and program offices of the Strategic Technologies department.
  • Work closely with technical experts, management team, suppliers and external partners to ensure compliance with project scope, schedule and budget.
  • Manage priorities between projects as well as the communication and alignment of these priorities

 

As our ideal candidate

 

  • You have a university degree in Business Management, Operations Management or Engineering with 5-8 years of experience in the aviation industry.
  • You are familiar with program/project management processes.
  • You demonstrate a professional attitude and superior communication skills.
  • You are familiar with the definition and detail processes of engineering, aircraft configuration, and change management.
  • You are a forward-looking, precise person who likes to invest in goals and have responsibilities.
  • You have natural leadership, a proactive attitude and an ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • You have initiative, are autonomous and enthusiastic.
  • You are naturally curious to learn about technology.
  • You have good computer skills. Experience with MS Excel, MS Project, SAP, Sharepoint, Power BI, Enovia and Teamcenter will be considered an asset.
  • You are bilingual (spoken and written French and English).
