Project Manager Health, Safety and Environment

In your role, you will

• Work within the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Center of Expertise to manage and support key strategic projects within the organization.
• Manage a portfolio of multisite projects 
• Manage a risk portfolio for health, safety and Environment with multidisciplinary teams
• Plan projects, monitor their progress and make modifications where necessary 
• Assess, manage and report project risks and opportunities.
• Work hand in hand with site HSE teams and Operations as well as with all internal partners and key stakeholders to ensure project success 
• Integrate change management into every step of the project
• Establish governance, coordinate the progress of actions and communicate project status to management and key stakeholders
• Monitor project performance and KPIs
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of team processes.
   

As our ideal candidate

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, commerce or equivalent
• You have a minimum of 5 years of related project management experience and /or continuous improvement, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• PMP certification or equivalent accreditation is an asset
• Previous experience in HSE is an asset
• You have knack for simplifying information and are comfortable presenting to management.
• You are dynamic and work well in a team.
• You are flexible in the face of changes in priorities and strategies that affect your project.
• You demonstrate organizational, communication and change management skills.
• You have the ability to think strategically, seek creative solutions, analyze and solve problems.
• You are autonomous, structured and able to coordinate the implementation of multiple projects simultaneously.
• You are bilingual English/French (spoken and written)
