Senior Advisor, Industrial Hygiene

In your role, you will

•    Work within the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Center of Expertise to lead and coordinate the development and deployment of the global Industrial Hygiene program in collaboration with local industrial hygienists at our sites to protect the health of our employees and ensure compliance in all countries that we operate 
•    Coordinate the development and deployment of specific industrial hygiene programs such as respiratory protection program, hearing conservation program as well as medical surveillance programs
•    Act as an expert and reference in industrial hygiene to respond to company risks and provide technical support and coaching to HSE teams.
•    Work closely with site Industrial Hygienists in the development of annual planning of Industrial Hygiene activities and specific sampling strategies 
•    Perform and/or coach qualitative and quantitative risk assessments in our sites and assist in employee exposure monitoring as needed
•    Conduct regulatory monitoring (RSST, OSHA, ACGIH, etc.) and coordinate impact assessment.
•    Lead and optimize the HSE evaluation process for the introduction of new products & processus
•    Follow up on legal non-compliance issues and provide technical support when required 
•    Conduct trend analysis of industrial hygiene data and identify areas for improvement
•    Participate in the selection and deployment of an industrial hygiene data management system and act as central 
 

As our ideal candidate

•    You have a bachelors or master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene or in a field related to Health, Safety and Environment;
•    You are certified as a Professional in Industrial Hygiene (CIH/ ROH) or are in the process of certification;
•    You have a minimum of 10 years’ experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
•    You are bilingual English/French spoken and written
•    You have strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
•    You are collaborative and able to consolidate information at a global level
•    You have the ability to think strategically, seek creative solutions, analyze and solve problems
•    You are autonomous, structured and able to coordinate the implementation of multiple projects simultaneously.
•    You have excellent computer skills.
