General description of the job
•We are currently seeking On-Call, Contract Flight Attendants (Temporary position) to join the Flight Operations team in Toronto. (123 Garratt Blvd. Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
Tasks and responsibilities
In your role, you will:
•Execute all tasks and duties required to perform the duties of Flight Attendant in accordance with safe practices, Company’s policy and good judgment. Maintain approved standards of safety in the aircraft cabin.
•Co-ordinate catering and in-flight service.
•Strive to meet or exceed the requirements of both internal and external customers at all times.
•Complete any additional requirements (such as pre and post-flight paperwork).
•Successfully complete initial training and then maintain currency on assigned aircraft type(s) with regard to successful completion of annual training and documentation.
•Present a pleasant, personable, and professional demeanor to enhance mutual respect and promote teamwork.
•Work well with senior executives; strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must. Communicate with other team members and supervisors in a clear, friendly, honest and timely manner.
•Conduct yourself in accordance with the published Bombardier Code of Ethics and Behavior.
As our ideal candidate,
•As the ideal candidate, you will be, at minimum, a high school graduate (post-secondary education is desirable).
•You must have at least three years of experience as a Commercial Flight Attendant; Corporate Flight Attendant experience is an asset.
•Knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations is required. International work experience is a strong asset.
•Preference will be given to candidates who are familiar with the Bombardier Aerospace product line
•Excellent customer service and culinary skills
•Fluent in English and French; a third language is an asset.
•The ability to work well with senior executives as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
•Successful Candidate should have the ability to get to Bombardier, Toronto location within 1.5 hours after receiving call to work.
•This position pays $350 per Day
