As a Strong Player of two Executive Leadership Teams you will have to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with fellow executives on both the Divisional Leadership Team (BCLT) and the Strategy and International Leadership Team (SILT) for the purpose of setting the direction of the business, and executing on Strategic and International Initiatives

In your role, you will:

- Manage a Diverse team of Strategy and International Business Development ProfessionalsBuild, lead, and develop a small team of professionals to support the President of BCA, and other senior executives as required to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives;
- Take Ownership of Strategic Planning and Strategic Initiatives. Develop and conduct, in collaboration with senior management, the overarching business unit’s strategy including the long term business plan;
- Facilitate the development of comprehensive business plans and financial projections for new business ventures and Strategic Initiatives ;
- Ensure integration and alignment of metrics to strategy as a means to monitor the progress and execution of strategies to help ensure that the business is meeting its strategic goals;
- Work Collaboratively across Bombardier’s Businesses and Functions. Manage relations and develop strategic content in collaboration with key internal stakeholders such as Program Office, Legal Services, Sales and Marketing, Government Affairs, Structured Finance, Public Affairs and Communications, and other parts of Bombardier as required;
- Provide cross functional leadership and drive completion of strategic initiatives at the senior executive level across all organizational functions.

- You have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and successfully within respective constraints and deadlines;


- You have a solid understanding of international business, international affairs, and government;
- You have a proven ability to manage across national and cultural boundaries
- You have knowledge of and/or experience working in another Region such as China, India, Africa, Latin America, Russia… (would be a distinct advantage)

Communications Skills

- You have effective communications skills, including the ability to make compelling written and oral presentations.
- You have native level fluency in English (essential). Working fluency in another “Top 5” world language would be highly desirable
- You have excellent listening skills;
- You have the ability to obtain relevant information from various stakeholders and key players within the organization;


- You have a minimum of fifteen (15) years experience in a corporate strategy department, in a management consulting firm, or in a business development role
- You have a minimum of five (5) years experience in an Executive role as a member of a management team
- You have direct experience managing external stakeholders (eg, Customers, Suppliers, Partners, Financial Markets)
- You have knowledge of Aircraft and Aircraft Programs would be clear advantage;
- You have knowledge or experience in Commercial Airline operations (would be a clear advantage)


- You have an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or any field related to the requirements of this position
- You have a Master degree, preferably an MBA, or a Master in International Affairs or Public Policy

This position is based in Downsview, Ontario

Salary between 139K – 170K
