Technologist Senior, Engineering - Nomenclature

In your role, you will

•    Provide Nomenclature support for Global programs dealing with changes to the basic aircraft, options, certification, and in-service issues.
•    Ensure Engineering documentation is conformed to the Bombardier Standards.
•    Create part numbers and raw material in SAP.
•    Create and maintain the Engineering Product Structure in SAP.
•    Perform Product Structure Management in SAP.
•    Create material master of AMO (Advanced Material Order).
•    Audit/validate attributes of engineering drawings.
•    Support multiple teams with general inquiries concerning part numbers and EPS.
•    Lead Nomenclature process development and integration.
•    Develop peers and new hires in the field of Nomenclature and Configuration Management domain through training, mentoring and review of daily work.
 

As our ideal candidate

•    You hold a Bachelor’s degree, college diploma, or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of experience. 
•    CMMI certification would be considered an asset.
•    You have the working knowledge of SAP.
•    You are familiar with the definition and detail Engineering, aircraft configuration and change management processes.
•    You have the ability to act as an ambassador with regard to business initiatives (BOE, Master Plan, etc.) and is able to engage your team in them.
•    You are a leader capable of balancing the management of deliverables as well as the commitment of your team.
•    You have a professional attitude, can deal with internal and external Business Aircraft customers.
•    Superior communication skills are essential. You have excellent time management skills. You are a far-sighted person, precise, who likes to invest in the objectives and to have responsibilities.
