Coordinator, Payroll and Benefits
You will work at the corporate office, located in downtown Montréal, and report to the Manager, Human Resources. You will be responsible for processing the payroll and benefits for employees and executives as well as managing the related complexities and details.
In your role, you will have the following responsibilities:
·Act as a Paymaster by administering and ensuring the integrity of the data necessary to process the payroll, group insurances and pension plans for the employees of the corporate office and the members of the Board Members of Bombardier Inc.;
-Process Short, Medium and Long-Term Incentives as well as Board Retainers and Attendance Fees for Board Members;
·Manage the application for the interface between “Employer D” and ADP Canada’s Pay@Work software program for transmitting and updating payroll data;
·Transmit payroll data to internal and external requestors within the required time periods;
·Perform bank reconciliations and data remittances in the general ledger;
·Manage the payroll year-end processes for employees and retirees;
·Administer the vehicle file for managers;
·Input data for employee file administration and benefits;
·Ensure the smooth completion of the process for insurance-selection renewal, prepare the monthly insurer-premium reports, and issue the cheque requests;
·Serve as a resource person for all questions related to the payroll, group insurances and pension plans;
·Manage and update the Human Resources team’s budget;
·Administer and carefully monitor the short- and long-term disability files, ensure an efficient transition with Industrial Alliance, and coordinate requests for expert assessments, as necessary;
·Represent Human Resources on the health and safety committee and manage ergonomic-evaluation requests;
·Coordinate the annual vaccination campaign;
·Produce the confirmations of employment and reply to requests for references and to Employment Insurance;
·Participate in special committees, assignments and projects;
·Perform all other related tasks required for this position.
As our ideal candidate:
·You have a minimum of eight to ten years’ experience in processing full payroll cycle;
·You have a Diploma of Collegial Studies in accounting, administration or the equivalent;
·Member of the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) would be an asset;
·You are familiar with ADP Canada’s Pay@Work and Employer D software programs;
·You are highly proficient with the Microsoft Office applications;
·You are proficient in both French and English;
·You are meticulous and detail oriented and strive for excellence;
·You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly;
·You are able to manage several assignments at once;
·You make sure to understand and meet your clients’ needs within short deadlines;
·You are flexible and capable of working in a complex environment;
·You demonstrate considerable discretion and tact.
