Based in Los Angeles, California, you will provide expertise in trouble shooting electrical & mechanical issues with locomotives. You will be required to work with, evaluate and participate with the training necessary to develop the workforce to be a safe/efficient & skilled team. You will provide the necessary coaching, mentoring and hands on training of all employees assigned.

Also you will identified problematic systems/parts to ascertain performance failures using diagnostic and faultfinding techniques. You will have interfaces with client technical staff to identify technical reliability solutions.

In your role you will:

- Provide guidance, support and training to staff on the execution of the maintenance program;
- Investigate identified problematic systems / parts to ascertain cause of performance failure. To diagnose diagnostic software to enable the root cause to be identified;
- Interface with client technical and facility staff on technical subject;
- Support the training group with formal hands-on technical training;
- Support the Quality Assurance of the product with technical and compliance audits;
- Assist in the development of modifications and equipment testing;
- Propose improvement to equipment, practices and maintenance program.


As our ideal candidate:

- You hold a College degree or equivalent in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline;
- You cumulate a minimum of ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience in a similar position;
- You understand procedures, schematics and drawings;
- You possess a strong electrical & mechanical background especially in equipment maintenance and diagnostics;
- Your English communication skills are excellent both written and spoken;
- Your Spanish communication skills would be considered as an asset.
