The Bid Product Lead Electricals manages a multisite and multi-cultural team and is responsible to deliver electrical bid for both internal and third party business, optimizing competitiveness while mitigating risks. The Bid Product Lead Electricals mobilizes the bid team to find the optimal way to win the order whilst ensuring customer ecosystems are compiled to. To this effect, the Bid Product Lead leads the Task Oriented Bid Team in the successful completion of their assigned tasks within schedule, allocated budgets and scope to the required quality. The Bid Product Lead Electricals shall lead the team with the view of the full bid strategy including areas outside own division and the overall impact on BT.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for the individual building block as a Product Bids expert in an multicultural environment

• Drives the bid process in the respective product group by leading a team of bid managers and managing key stakeholders

• Allocates resources to the preparation of the bid

• Ensures staffing levels, resource scheduling and performance evaluations and development plans for direct reports.

• Ensures Product relevant Scope Documents are completed and submitted on time including on time bid reviews and coordination with other functions


• University degree (Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent)

• Typically 6-10 years of experience, minimum 2 years of cross-border team management in the areas of Project Management, Bids, Bid Controlling, Project Engineering or Operations

• Experience in and able to deliver cross-functional bids

• Solid understanding of complex technical systems and products

• Good knowledge of financial processes in long term projects

• Advanced Excel and MS Project skills and knowledge of scheduling and collaboration applications

• Fluent in English
