Lead Reliability Engineer

to join our team in Mannheim, Germany OR Stockholm, Sweden

The Lead Reliability Engineer is part of our Onboard solutions management team and will have field performance of Onboard solutions as responsibility (more on our Mainline Solutions can be found here / http://bit.ly/2pFynB4).
You will define availability targets and processes for collection and analysis of Onboard solutions, propose modifications in our products as well as preventive/predictive maintenance algorithms. The team you will be part of is of Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) experts on Bombardier’s Solution/Product/Platform level.
Within this role you will have interfaces to other functions (e.g. Regional Engineering, Sales, Quality Assurance and Supply Management) during the Project bid and execution phase and includes a responsibility to stay updated on the market situation and competitors RAM performance. You will drive the projects to collect RAM data and feed them back into the solution for analysis.

- Your key responsibilities include:
- Definition of data capture and analysis process and methodology;
- Definition of requirements on products and tools;
- Analysis and supervision of KPI evolution for the Solution/Product/Platform already in operation;
- Based on availability and Life Cycle Costing (LCC) requirements propose changes in products as well as preventive/predictive algorithms;
- Ensure RAM and LCC requirements/performance are followed up;
- Support bids with RAM and LCC.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in engineering;

- Experience with signalling systems or other process controlling systems with a global footprint;

- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience;

- Fluent English language skills;

- Strong communication and writing skills with the ability to work in an international team;

- Strong leadership skills and ability to influence the organisation without having formal power

- Energetic and proactive approach
