For our Locomotive Business Unit in Mannheim/Germany we are currently looking to recruit a

RAM/LCC Engineer Locomotives (m/f)

who will have the product responsibility in the area of RAM/LCC during all project phases and full responsibility for all relevant RAM/LCC Engineering-works.

Tasks:

• Elaborate RAM-Management-plans for projects and perform risk-analysis for projects and bids
• Allocation of customer requirements to main systems and single components
• Definition of activities in project execution phase (according to RAM/LCC Plan)
• Preparation and elaboration of RAM/LCC data sheets, spare parts lists, special tools lists
• Collaboration with all related functions regarding RAM/LCC; interface to project management and system engineering
• Performing technical negotiations with suppliers, customers and consortial partners
• Performing RAM/LCC analysis, studies and benchmarks as well as collection and analysis of field data
• Identification and analysis of problems in the RAM/LCC field and elaboration of solutions
• Participation in Design Reviews in order to feedback field experience into the concept work for new projects

Qualifications

You have graduated in electrical or mechanical engineering and have very good knowledge in the area of RAM/LCC or an additional RAM/LCC-engineering-degree. Fundamental experience in the railway business is very important, especially in maintenance and inspection of railcars. Alternatively, you have experience in the field of commercial vehicle or aerospace engineering with a special focus on maintenance.
Furthermore, you are experienced in the application of corresponding methods and tools (e.g. FME(C) A and Fault Tree Analysis). You also have a good knowledge in engineering processes and the execution of bids and projects.

Your work is characterized by high accuracy and quality even under heavy daily workload. A high level of commitment and determination as well as excellent communication and team skills are a must.

Fluency in English and German is a prerequisite for working in our international environment; additional languages are advantageous.
