For our Business Unit Locomotives at our site in Zurich or Mannheim we are looking for

Software Development Engineers

Tasks:

- Creation of concepts and design documentation in coordination with Systems and Safety Engineering
- Participate in technical discussions within the team to develop products
- Software development including the associated development testing on the dynamometer and the vehicle
- Support the commissioning of vehicles
- Support internal test teams in the verification process, as well as external service providers validating the software
- Creation of documentation
- Support experts in the preparation of assessment reports

Qualifications

Your Profile:

You have a deep knowledge in one or more areas such as software development (especially in the languages ​​C and C + + and programming techniques in accordance with IEC 61131), real-time control systems, LINUX, and bus systems like CAN or Ethernet. You are structured, a fast learner and work, team and goal-oriented. You are capable of, and show a willingness to take responsibility and solve complex issues within international teams based at different locations.

Good spoken and written German and English is a prerequisite; other (especially Eastern European) languages are an asset. Depending on experience, aptitude and interest, you have excellent prospects to further develop your career and pursue open leadership positions.
