We are seeking a Senior Business Contract Advisor whom will be working closely with the Bombardier Commercial Aircraft Procurement team. Here is a brief description of the key expected competencies and a highlight of responsibilities:

- Become a partner of choice to elaborate and develop commercial and contractual strategies that the Procurement organization wishes to adopt with its suppliers.
- Ease in interpreting contractual provisions and providing recommendations which will impact the day to day relationships with the suppliers.
- Demonstrate a passion for negotiations and an open-minded attitude to be seen as the perfect partner to support and achieve successful negotiations with suppliers.
- Strong contractual writing skills in conjunction with a business flair will be greatly appreciated and solicited by the Procurement clients.
- Ability to identify and anticipate commercial and contractual problems is key to ensure efficient communication with our internal and/or external legal counsels.
- A quest for knowledge and the ability to adapt to changes will help us to find and integrate best world practices for negotiating and drafting contracts.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- Law degree or an equivalent experience in the negotiation and drafting of contracts.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the law field related to contract matters, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skill helps you to be a negotiator who is firm on issues but gracious with people.
- Behaviours as a leader inspire confidence and you are able to take calculated risks in your domain of responsibility.
- Bilingualism (French and English) spoken and written is essential
- Good knowledge of MS-Office environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
