Financial Analyst, FP&A,Transformation

Based at the Administrative center located in Dorval CA with frequent trips to our Corporate Office located in downtown Montreal, you will report to the Director FP&A, Profitability Improvement Initiatives. You will be responsible to ensure visibility and follow-up on the transformation’s impact in the financial plans from an overall corporation perspective. This high visibility mandate will lead to you to be fully involved with the transformation plan and have a direct impact on Bombardier’s financials. The setup of this new corporate function linked to the transformation is a unique opportunity to put your talent at work and give management all needed visibility to lead this transformation.

In your role, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Support the transformation governance (e.g. savings rules validation)
• Consolidate and validate data integrity of transformation information for management presentations;
• Support central procurement department regarding transformation (validation and data consolidation);
• Link between the finance teams of the business units to align the financial reporting processes of transformation (integration of initiatives in plan, impact on actuals)
• Prepare presentations for transformation meetings;
• Support various ad hoc demands
• Contribute to the continuous improvement system of the function.


As our ideal candidate, you:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent;
• Hold an Accounting Designation (CPA);
• Have 5-7 years of experience in Financial planning and analysis or relevant experience;
• Have good knowledge of accounting norms;
• Have superior verbal and written communication skills in French and English to communicate with all organizational levels;
• Have great presentation skills necessary to understand, consolidate and present the information in an efficient way;
• Possess planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments;
• Have strong analytical and judgment skills necessary to evaluate alternatives and formulate recommendations in support of management decision-making;
• Demonstrate good interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, other business areas, and leaders;
• Have working knowledge of process improvement.
• Have excellent knowledge of MS Office especially in Excel and Powerpoint.
• Have knowledge of SAP, CPM applications and Consolidation applications would be an asset;
