Human Resources Business Partner, Procurement
(Temporary position 15 months)

Based in Dorval, you will be part of the Human Resources team dedicated to the Aerospace Procurement function and will report to the Manager, Human Resources. As a seasoned Human Resources Business Partner, you will support all of your business segment’s procurement employees and managers by bringing an added value contribution while fostering the achievement of the procurement’s strategic and operational business objectives.

In your role as Human Resources Business Partner, you will be responsible for:
• Advising and accompanying managers in the reflection, analysis and implementation of concrete and meaningful action plans with respect to main Human Resources processes, such as:
• Performance management;
• Talent and succession management;
• Compensation management;
• Annual Employee Engagement Survey.
• Establishing a strong, proactive and flexible business relationship with all managers and employees to maximize their engagement, enablement and retention as well as understanding their issues and challenges, and support them in their professional development;
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and/or HR risks to which managers are exposed while helping them deal with these in a responsible and strategic manner while supporting their leadership application and development;
• Ensuring the continuous improvement and/or harmonization of the HR programs, policies and procedures as well as the working conditions;
• Ensuring the application and development of our Bombardier Behaviours to all employees;
• Monitoring HR metrics;
• Representing the function and the business segment in several committees, mandates and special projects and implementing the resulting initiatives;
• Developing strong, trust-based partnerships with your colleagues in the other business segments at Aerospace and Transportation.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate, you:

• Have a bachelor's degree in human resource management, industrial relations or a related discipline. A master's degree in a pertinent discipline would be an asset;
• Have at least six (6) to eight (8) years of experience as a seasoned professional in the various fields of Human Resources, ideally in an international company and with a similar clientele;
• Have a thorough mastery of the advisor role and have demonstrated, in the past, your leadership, your capacity to navigate in grey areas and your ability to adapt to changing and unforeseen priorities;
• Demonstrate a great impact and influence and are able to position yourself, even in ambiguous situations, to support your business partners in making informed decisions;
• Have strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate high professional and emotional maturity;
• Are able to question the status quo and demonstrate initiative, creativity and proactivity to ensure the evolution of the HR services;
• Demonstrate excellent teamwork, are at ease with giving coaching and share pertinent information with your colleagues;
• Have good writing skills and are at ease communicating in both English and French.
