You will be part of the Product Development Engineering, Aerospace team where it all starts for Bombardier as it sets the stage to take full advantage of its investments and the tremendous growth potential of its new products. The organization is responsible for bringing new aircraft programs to their successful entry-into-service. Currently, these new products are the all-new CSeries commercial aircraft and the high-performance Global 7000/Global 8000 business jets.

In your role, you will:

- Work with Advanced Design team members in developing new functionalities to optimize Competitive Intelligence data gathering, Conceptual Design activities as well as benchmarking and reporting capabilities.

- Support and maintain the current Advanced Design tool portfolio (which includes providing training when required and coordinating account request)

- Plan future tools and processes development in accordance to Advanced Design needs

- Lead and coordinate tools and processes development projects, communicate with the different stakeholders and provide status update as required

- Support the mapping of the Advanced Design conceptual design processes and develop the required tools to support documentation of the processes

- Organize the documentation platform for new projects and standardize the storing of documentation

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You have a Bachelor in Software or Computer Engineering or equivalent
- You have demonstrated project coordination experience in a tool or process development project
- You have one year of experience in ASP.NET and SQL
- You have relevant experience in user interface design
- You have experience using version control and bug-tracking tools
- You have experience using LINQ and other .NET 3.5 technologies is an asset
- You have good knowledge of software engineering methodologies and best practices
- You have good communication skills
- You have the ability to learn by yourself and remain up-to-date on the latest web technologies
- You have the ability to work independently and to take initiative
- You are bilingual (an asset)
