You will be part of the Product Development Engineering, Aerospace team where it all starts for Bombardier as it sets the stage to take full advantage of its investments and the tremendous growth potential of its new products. The organization is responsible for bringing new aircraft programs to their successful entry-into-service. Currently, these new products are the all-new CSeries commercial aircraft and the high-performance Global 7000/Global 8000 business jets.

In your role, you will:

- Be the lead to develop & define features, strategies and standards of aircraft security features to be used in the design of systems in Bombardier aircraft
- Write BMs to assist in current & future aircraft design for aircraft security for Bombardier Aircraft
- Be the BA lead to communicate within the company the current strategies, standards, BM practices/details and briefs from Information Sharing Analysis Center (A-ISAC) conferences
- Participate with the IPDT the risk assessment & vulnerabilities to specific platform and onboarding processes
- Participate with the IPDT for the test development of aircraft security as well as its execution on aircraft
- Participate with the IPDT in the production of certification reports for compliance
- Be the BA focal and participate in the BA in the Aviation - Information Sharing Analysis Center (A-ISAC) per business needs
- Be the lead and coordinate with the IPDT & ITS for post C of A aircraft security threats as result of evolving technologies & threats
- Participate with the IPDT for the assessment of continuing airworthiness for post C of A aircraft security incidents
- Audit the IPDT`s continuing airworthiness process by the IPDT and make findings
- Participate with the IPDT for the evaluation, validation & verification to the design changes for post C of A to aircraft security
- Audit the adherence of design change management process by the IPDT and make findings.
- Core security – RMAS focal will also;
- Core security – RMAS focal will also;
- Participate RMAS KD reviews and domain meetings. as subdomain focal for aircraft security - RMAS
- Produce the yearly plans for aircraft security subdomain
- Prepare presentations on the role of aircraft security as an ambassador of this sub domain


As our ideal candidate,

- You are a university graduate in electrical/mechanical/software/computer engineering with at least 10 years experience avionics and/or RMAS experirance with at least 5 years expierance in aircraft security
- You have expeirance in aircraft security in assessing wire and wireless threats, in building defenses and assessing for systems threats within and across systems, in preforming white box assessments for threats with suppliers, in assessing aircraft threat vectors and peforming ac penetration tests and reviewing and interpretating security penentration data
- You have a good understanding of aircraft performance characteristics, aircraft systems definition, integration, interfaces, component qualification, reliability and safety requirements and certification process of flight controls systems sufficiently to support comptentely in assessing aicraft secuirty measures and dealing with many discplines
- You preferably have been directly involved in the aircraft definition and certification for aircraft security
- You are cognizant of the relevant Airworthiness Regulations/special conditions of aircraft security and certification process.
- You also have the ability to communicate sound technical proposals and work status to senior management, be a team player, a self-motivated person and be able to work under pressure.
- You show a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
- You have good oral and technical writing skills in English are required (French is an asset).
- You have basic knowledge of MS Office.
