The Finance Operations Center is responsible for the finance end to end process of all Bombardier Transportation globally with more than 7 years of experience. The processes managed are: Accounts Payable & Receivable, Cash Management, General Ledger, Closing & Reporting and Controlling. Our team is strong and trustworthy business partner while ensuring financial governance towards business operations.

For our Finance Center, based in Cluj-Napoca we are looking for a:

Financial Operational Specialist for AP & AR

Your role:

As part of the consolidation team the Specialist Finance will be involved in all processes of the monthly and annual consolidated financial reporting to the Corporate head office. In this position the Specialist Finance will lead and coordinate major processes, design systems and provide analysis. The Specialist Finance has to be a competent partner to the reporting companies, regional finance organization, the Group management, the Corporate Office and internal / external auditors.

Your Challenges:

- Ensure expertise and operational performance in designated field in AP and AR by having deep accounting understanding and being able to drive process change based on existing business knowledge

- Lead Standardization projects by driving and implementing standardization on process based on best practices

- Have knowledge and contribute to process improvement regardless on ERP systems or country

- Ensure governance and financial compliance for all AP and AR activities performed in area of expertise

- Ensure cost effectiveness by reduction of complexity in the area of specialization

- Mange operational performance Management area by ensuring achievement of SLA and OLA commitments, recommending effective process documentation methods

- Insure financial governance through integration of key internal controls within the process design and documentations

- Prepare and support solid functional trainings to utilize efficiently the existing ERP solutions and processes

- Determine the right system solution, tools and interfaces towards the various business needs with the aim to reduce the system complexity

- Establish a standardized project management strategy to shorten the system implementation time and increase the cost efficiency and quality

- Insure the effective communication within the finance organization as well as with the interdependent functions to foster open and proactive information sharing and decision making

- Support the identification of key internal/external stakeholder needs and expectations and the assessment of the priority evaluation

- Act as business partner towards the finance organization and the cross functional stakeholder

Qualifications

- Education: Degree level qualification (masters preferred) in Finance or Business Administration
- Foreign Languages: English – at a proficient level; any other European language would be an advantage
- Working experience: over 5 years relevant experience
- Solid accounting knowledge
- Familiar with relevant processes and accounting principles (IFRS)
- Microsoft tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint essential
- Experience of large scale systems, ERP or complex database maintenance
- Strong analytical skills
- Good communication, teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment
