Based in New York City (Pitkin Yard), you will be responsible to receive, commission and provide warranty support for the new R179 vehicles. You will also Support engineering investigations on revenue service related issues, and provide accurate and timely reports on the modification and warranty programs to management.

In your role you will:

- Be responsible for receiving, commissioning, providing warranty support and completing all modifications issues on these new R179 vehicles;
- Be responsible to supervise and ensure that all records for any modification and warranty work is completed for processing. This would also include any material that is received or returned to the suppliers;
- Communicate directly with the Customer’s representatives, vendors and internal contacts;
- Establish a strong relationship, negotiate favorable conditions for train access and movements and other customer support issues;
- Function independently (on site) and as part of the PI team to achieve the goals in the contract;
- Complete mandatory Safety training and ensure compliance to all Federal, State and Industry mandated, and Bombardier safety rules and regulations;
- Ensure that all staff on-site are trained as per requirements;
- Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s ) to measure efficiency and adherence to team goals.


As our ideal candidate:

- You possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or suitable equivalent work experience;
- You cumulate a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience;
- You have previous supervisory level experience working with electro-mechanical equipment and technical staff within the transportation or avionics industry;
- Your English communications skills are excellent, both written and spoken.

Additionnal information: This position may require minimal travelling to other locations/sites.
