In the Lead Engineer- Systems Integration and Test role, you will plan integration and testing activities for a team of factory test engineers with responsibility for integrating and testing Bombardier's CITYFLO650 signaling solution for mass transit systems worldwide.

In your role you will:

- Plan and lead the system integration and factory testing of signaling systems solutions;
- Define the test plan and division of work between test engineers;
- Supervise the work performed by the test team, ensure test execution and delivery of test reports, on budget and within the established deadlines;
- Develop test procedures based on requirement analysis, architecture, and interface descriptions of the signaling system solution;
- Maintain a test schedule, define, create, and document test procedures;
- Review and approve test results;
- Represent the System Integration and Test Group in technical meetings with systems and sub-systems engineers, provide early inputs of testability to product development;
- Work with site ITC Managers to define the scope split between factory and site test;
- Produce and report test metrics;
- Review project management plans and provide feedback on the impact of test activities;
- Partner with the site ITC Manager in directing and coordinating testing;
- Maintain proper test configuration records;
- Partner with Systems Engineering and Developers to investigate test issues and failures and conduct root cause analysis.


As our ideal candidate:

- You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering; a Master’s degree will be considered an asset;
- You possess at least five (5) years of experience in a factory and/or field testing and/or systems integration role;
- You demonstrate a proven track record of successful project execution on schedule and within budget;
- You possess experience leading test engineering or project engineering teams;
- You possess experience defining test cases for safety-critical systems;
- You possess experience executing test cases in automated test environments, on simulated, virtual or target equipment, using automatic test tools;
- You demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office and other internet applications;
- You can operate independently while establishing strong working relationships with co-workers and cross-functional teams;
- You possess strong organizational and prioritization skills;
- You demonstrate critical attention to detail and deadlines, and are self-motivated;
- You possess the ability to adapt well to change in direction and priorities in a project and deadline-oriented environment
- Your written and verbal English communication skills are excellent.
