Based in St. Bruno, Quebec, you will manage the financial requirements of given projects from the pre-bid stage until financial closing. This will involve the ability to deliver a competitive finance proposal of exceptional quality, well presented and easy to evaluate.

You also will design and implement innovative and beneficial financing products and solutions for Bombardier Transportation itself and for its customers in support of Sales opportunities. You will make sure that sales revenues are optimized with the support of SF and that Corporate governance in respect to credit issues are followed.

In your role you will:

- Review tender documents, evaluate financing requirements and prepare compliant financing proposals with the aim of developing competitive advantages for the benefit of Bombardier clients in the context of international call for tenders or unsolicited proposals. This also includes a risk assessment evaluation and quantification and the development of financing programs to enhance marketability of assets;
- Prepare financial pre-feasibility assessments to be followed on a case by case basis by the development of a more detailed project finance model, lease model, export finance, bridge finance, etc. model, credit analysis and project risks analysis. To the extent required, this includes collating the various inputs to the financial model and conforming them to the schedule and the commercial terms and modeling and optimizing the project-wide payment regime;
- Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, draft White and Blue Book (names referring to the internal BT governance process) sections on financing to outline financing strategy in support of sales effort. Participate in White & Blue Book reviews to present financing strategy to management;
- Coordinate work of internal and external specialists in the field of accounting/tax, legal, technical, financial and commercial;
- Evaluation and negotiation stage: prepare presentation for internal and external reviews; negotiate debt or equity partnership agreements, concession agreements, commercial documentation, lease agreements, project finance agreements etc. to reach financial closing.


As our ideal candidate:

- You hold a university degree (preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law. MBA or CFA titles are valued but not required);
- You have minimun seven (7) years of professional experience, if possible within a large international corporation or financial institution;
- You possess experience in Public-Private Partnership;
- You have capability to work on complex projects involving legal, financial, accounting, tax, ownership related, technical etc. issues as project manager of a divers team with external and internal partners;
- You have advanced financial structuring skills;
- You own advanced negotiation and influencing skills;
- You are an entrepreneur with profit and loss responsibility able to lead a team of transactors and analysts and manage transactions independently;
- Your English and French communications skills are excellent both written and spoken (Spanish and Portuguese skills are a plus but not a requirement).
