Bid Manager role in Stockholm, Sweden

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Bid Manager is responsible to organize, plan, track and manage all activities within a bid project.
Seeks and gains mandate to bid from Divisional, Group or Corporate bid approvals functions.
He/she is responsible for tracking and managing the bid cost to the allocated bid budget.
Leads the Task Oriented Bid Team in the blue book and bid document preparation and also supports the negotiations with the customer and hands over awarded bids to the project manager.

IN YOUR ROLE YOU WILL:

• Work as a project manager, in order to lead and instruct the team members, organize, divide and follow up the work to be made and to judge different situations with respect to cost, time and quality.
• Organize complex work, make plans and communicate them to the team members.
• Communicate well and get commitments from different functions in a global organization.
• Be able to understand the business reality and the financial requirements.
• Understand the customers’ expectations and reality and be able to establish a good relationship with end customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor/Master Degree in Engineering, Finance or Business
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong competitive drive
• Good analytical skills
• Ability to write and manage preparation of good documents
• Good negotiation skills
• English business fluent level is mandatory for this role; Swedish is considered an advantage
