Line Manager ? Specific Application, in Stockholm (Sweden)

As a Line Manager for Specific Application you will manage one of the teams delivering railway interlocking systems for the Nordic market. You will be responsible for developing your team, resource planning and continuously improving our area of business.


? Provides leadership/management and direction to the team of 10 software configuration engineers (including yearly performance reviews and yearly salary reviews)
? Ensures delivery of Railway interlocking systems to customer projects ? in line with the quality and delivery schedule agreed
? Takes part in calculating resources estimates within the bidding phases
? Plans and allocate resources within the region
? Monitors adherence to engineering processes to ensure the required system safety
? Drives and proposes work improvements in processes and work flows
? Creates and implements plans to improve employee skills, motivation and engagement


- Minimum 3 to 5 years of engineering leadership experience in similar field of work

- Able to continuously optimise processes/tools/behaviours and take advantage of technical innovations in order to meet business requirements, customer needs and new market conditions

- Experience in Railway Signalling Industry is an advantage

- Master Degree in Computer Science Engineering / Business Administration or equivalent work experience

- Able to adapt to changed plans and priorities to address resources and operational challenges

- Demonstrates good communication skills and able to guide, influence and convince others
- Business fluent English and fluent Swedish is required
