In your role, you will:

- Be part of the Global R,M&S team, for the Global 7000/8000 aircraft, and the primary tasks are to conduct aircraft safety and/or system safety activities, and to support all design activities.
- Be responsible for R,M&S deliverables specific to the assigned systems.
- Participate in the, system functional hazard analysis, aircraft and system fault tree analysis, system safety assessment, failure mode and effect analysis and the final R,M&S certification report.
- The duties will also require certification activities. This will involve co-ordination of technical issues and resolutions across all Bombardier, Partner/Supplier, Regulatory and Customer parties.


As our ideal candidate,

- You are a university graduate in electrical/mechanical engineering with at least 5 years R,M&S experience.
- You have a strong electro-mechanical background and has an excellent understanding of aircraft performance characteristics, aircraft systems definition, integration, interfaces, component qualification, reliability and safety requirements and certification process of flight controls systems.
- You preferably have been directly involved in the aircraft definition and certification.
- You must be very cognizant of the relevant Airworthiness Regulations and certification process.
- You have the ability to communicate sound technical proposals and work status to senior management, be a team player, a self-motivated person and be able to work under pressure.
- You possess a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
- You have good oral and technical writing skills in English are required (French is an asset).
- You possess basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Knowledge of creating Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Safety Analysis is required.
