Electrical Engineer (Minimum 5 Years Experience)

In your role, you will

• Prepare necessary documents to support the modification of Bombardier aircraft such as wire diagrams, functional test plans and reports, technical requirement documents, electrical load analysis and design compliance reports.
• Coordinate with outside suppliers, internal departments and regulatory agencies regarding the design, installation, integration, testing and certification of avionics and entertainment systems on all Bombardier platforms.
• Research specification for component selection.  Coordinate with suppliers to ensure specifications are met.
• Assist service center personnel in investigating, troubleshooting, and resolution of build/modification and test issues 
• Work in a team environment 
   

As our ideal candidate

• You hold a Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering with five (5) years aviation experience or have a minimum of ten (10) years of practical avionics/electrical system installations, functional testing and integration experience in aviation.
• You will be proficient using AutoCAD
• You have a working knowledge of Cabin Management/Entertainment Systems (Preferred)
• You have a working knowledge of applicable regulatory certification rules (FAA, EASA, TCCA).
• You will be proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, Outlook)
• You have a working knowledge of electrical, avionics, and wire harness design guidelines for CFR Part 25 aircraft.
• You must be a self-starter and able to handle multiple initiatives effectively.
• You must exhibit excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• You should be an organized individual, able to work effectively with a variety of cross-functional individuals, departments and organizations with a general good attitude and disposition.
