You will be part of the Product Development Engineering, Aerospace team where it all starts for Bombardier as it sets the stage to take full advantage of its investments and the tremendous growth potential of its new products. The organization is responsible for bringing new aircraft programs to their successful entry-into-service. Currently, these new products are the all-new CSeries commercial aircraft and the high-performance Global 7000/Global 8000 business jets.

In your role, you will:

- Be a member of the Flight Sciences team at BFTC working in Aircraft Performance
- Author/Review RFTs, TDSs, RSIs, and Conformity reports to support the Flight Test schedule.
- Provide technical support to Flight Operations via attendance at pre and post flight briefs, telemetry, SOF reviews and THAs.
- Provide timely analysis of predicted results and post flight data in support of FPS snag resolution, PR generation and data reviews.
- Provide technical support to BFTC Projects TRRs.
- Update software tools in support of Flight Test activities.
- Derive Performance models from Flight Test


As our ideal candidate,

- You must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering and a proven track record
- You must have at least 10 years’ experience working in a Flight Sciences environment
- You must have experience in a Flight Testing environment
- You must have In-depth knowledge of certification requirements (Preferred)
- You must have good programming skills in SQL, C++ (or VB.NET) and Fortran.
- Knowledge of a UNIX operating system environment, WINDOWS (Word, Excel Powerpoint, etc) is an asset.
- You must be fluent in written and spoken English
- You must be a team player, self-motivated with strong analytical skills
