For our light rail vehicles lead site in Vienna, we are currently looking to recruit a flexible and motivated Project Planner (m/f). The Project Planner is responsible for guiding the Project Core Team in managing all planning, scheduling and progress control related aspects of the project in accordance with the Planning & Scheduling Process. He or she either leads all planning & scheduling activities on the project or reports to the Lead Planner of the project (especially on larger projects).

Main responsibilities:

- Provide the knowledge and the tools to plan the project scope of work and all related deliverables during project launch. This includes the application of the generic work breakdown structure (WBS) and using it as a cost and progress management tool throughout the project
- Establish and update the Detailed Project Schedule (DPS), including leading the harmonization and integration of sub-schedules from all parties (functions, subdivisions) involved in the project
- Track and reports progress against the baseline schedule and continuously monitor risks and opportunities
- Proactively develop scenarios, mitigation or back-up plans if required
- Produce schedule-related KPIs as required by the project


- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in similar role
- Working experience either in Engineering, Project Management, Operations, Procurement or Bids
- Has experience in working in a multicultural environment (e.g. working in international teams, international projects etc.)
- Has worked on several projects and/ or bids, ideally in similar business areas (e.g. railways, construction, technology, energy)
- Has planning experience on projects of similar scale
- Knowledge of relevant scheduling software is an advantage (e.g. Primavera)
- Team worker with the capability to guide, influence and convince others using strong communication skills
- Result driven approach and very organized working style
- Fluency in German and English

According to the collective agreement, the minimum salary for this role is € 2.469,22 gross/month (14 times a year) based on full-time employment. Depending on relevant professional experience and/or qualifications, the actual salary will be higher.
