Software Product Lead Engineers

Tasks:

You will be working as Lead Software Product Engineer in the field of vehicle control. Specific tasks include technical project management, team management, and cost/schedule monitoring of software projects in the context of vehicle control, visualization and diagnostic software for locomotives. This includes testing, documentation and registration of software in various countries around the world.

Qualifications

Your Profile:

You have a technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Computer Science (Uni, FH, BA) with strong links to software development. Several years of professional experience in an industrial environment with automation systems or technologies would be an advantage. Important to us is the enthusiasm for the management of complex software projects, ensuring their quality as part of CMMI or SPICE, and comprehension of the complex control systems and safety features of modern traffic and transport.

You have deep knowledge in one or more areas such as software development, real-time control systems, bus systems like CAN or Ethernet, and mechatronics. This should complement a knowledge of programming languages ​​C and C + +, in the ideal case in line with IEC61131.

You are a structured, fast learner who is work, team and goal-oriented. You are capable of, and willing to take on responsibility to solve complex issues together with an international team members based at different locations.

Good spoken and written German and English is a prerequisite for the role; other languages ​​are an advantage. Depending on experience, aptitude and interest you will have excellent prospects to develop your career within an international environment.
