For our Business Unit Locomotives at our site in Zurich (Switzerland) or Mannheim (Germany) we are looking for

Software Test Engineers

Tasks:

You are responsible for developing and testing software in the field of locomotive control systems. Your responsibilities will include overall planning, definition and implementation of software testing activities, and the development of an automated test environment. You are responsible for the conditions, implementation and documentation of test procedures within the simulation environment and in field tests on the locomotive. This includes the documentation and traceability of test results which will be used towards an international accreditation and certification of the locomotive software. Responsibilities also include automation of the test procedures to improve the simulation environment of the supplied components, and to control the progress of external agencies.

Qualifications

Your Profile:

You have a technical background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science (Uni, FH) with strong links to software development and software testing. You have a systems control background with some years of experience in projects in the field of Real-Time or buses such as CAN or Ethernet, and software quality management (SPICE, CMMI). In addition, you possess very good skills in C / C + + and the use of Labview and Simulink. You like to work independently on complex tasks that are solved within interdisciplinary and cross-border teams based at various locations.
Good spoken and written German and English are essential for our international environment; other languages ​​are an advantage.
