We are currently looking to recruit for a Global Mobility Relocation Services

Program Manager (m/f) on a temporary role for 15 months

at our location in Berlin, Germany or Montreal, Canada

Reporting to the Director, Global Mobility, you will be in charge of the governance of Global Mobility (GM) relocation services. You will ensure that our global relocation services provide the expected level of employee experience and are governed with equity in the complex environment in which we conduct business.

Your tasks

• Oversee and manage key relationships with providers, ensuring that agreed service levels are attained or exceeded and ensure continual assessment of relocation services providers and processes to ensure an optimal experience for employees, managers and the GM team.

• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify efficiencies and to continuously improve relocation services and processes as well as developing creative solutions to meet immediate and long term strategic objectives.

• Identify and implement aspects for improved employee experience in relation to global relocation services.

• Identify cost saving opportunities, agree and implement related actions.

• Effectively drive and manage projects intended to facilitate improvements related to relocation services.

• Establish a strong collaboration with the relocation services providers, GM case managers, GM Business Partners and members of the Governance Team.

• Be the main point of contact and escalation between internal stakeholders and the external providers to ensure escalations are promptly resolved.

• Identify and implement best practices to ensure global alignment of relocation services.

• Manage governance process for provider invoicing.

• Manage and govern provider contract in cooperation with Legal and Procurement.

• Manage and govern provider for Personal Property and Personal Liability Insurance and Moving Insurance.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor Degree or preferably Master Degree in: Human Resources, Law, Social Sciences or International Relations or other related field. Professional designation in the area of expertise would be an asset.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the area of Global Mobility with focus on relocation services, obtained either in-house or from a consultancy background.
• Have international experience in project management with large multinational groups and an ease to work in a changing environment.
• Have a sound knowledge in all aspects of expatriation management (end to end process).
• Have a basic knowledge in legal fields, such as international taxation, social security and immigration.
• Have the ability to lead activities with peer functions to harmonize and consolidate global relocation support.
• Have solid planning and organizing skills accompanied by efficiency and a continuous proactive improvement mind-set.
• Skilled at fostering positive, collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to identify, assess, respond to and escalate risk/potential risk.
• Are familiar with Human Resources Information Systems, Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Have excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written. Communication skills in languages, and in particular in French or German, (intermediate or advanced) would be an asset.
