Controls and Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities:

The Bombardier Transportation (BT) Controls and Compliance Specialist based in Cebu will be joining to a global worldwide team and will be supporting Bombardier Transportation’s compliance related activities in order to (i) fulfill and sustain the requirements of the Ontario Security Commission relevant regulation and (ii) to maintain a high standard compliance framework. The core mandate will require to perform testing procedures to validate and assess the design and the operational effectiveness of the relevant internal controls covering certification entities worldwide, as well as scope in Asia and Australia, to monitor the development of control deficiencies across the organization. The role will further contribute to various initiatives and projects assigned in areas such as standardization, process improvement, risk monitoring and management, compliance training etc. without claim to completeness.

Qualifications

•Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. A CPA will be considered an asset;

•Minimum of three (3) to four (4) years of audit experience is mandatory, gained in a professional accounting firm. Accounting experience on top is an advantage;

•Experience with data analytics and risk management is a strong advantage;

•Operates independently while establishing strong working relationships with co-workers and cross-functional teams;

•Possesses strong organizational and prioritization skills;

•Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priorities in a project and deadline-oriented environment;

•Critical mindset;

•Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

•Willingness to travel per business needs (20-30%)

•Must be willing to work in Cebu city
