ABOUT THE ROLE
The Head of Maintenance & Commissioning Northern France drives the Customer Service operations (train warranty maintenance, commissioning and troubleshooting) in terms of quality, cost, and delay in his/her concerned region, based on the strategy & targets defined by the different service line project leaders. The covered region includes teams in Lille, Rouen, Caen, Rennes & Nantes (40 to 50 employees), based directly at our SNCF customer depots.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and drive the operation activities (warranty, technical customer support, overhaul, retrofit, crash repair), in close relationship with the project leaders
o Plan workload.
o Build the necessary operation teams to execute the projects with the right quality, respecting project planning and budget
o Monitor good operation execution via weekly & monthly meetings & reports
o Manage any local customer complaints.
o Raise any risk leading to lack of performance or overcost not planned in the contracts.
• Manage quality and safety
o In collaboration with HSE, guarantee that all operations are executed in a safe environment with adequate procedures, tools and equipment, by operators having received the necessary trainings and certifications.
o Ensure the right level of quality in accordance with customer and project requirements. Provide the necessary documentation to customer prior to any vehicle final acceptance, or ROS delivery or commercial service.
• Support project leaders on cost performances and estimation, especially on Bids, Variation Orders, implementation of design modification, return of experience, etc… & budget follow up with Finance.
• Develop ‘best in class’ people management
o Manage the staff according to BT standards,
o Recruit the necessary skills to match the projects and future business needs,
o Establish resources synergies with other regions,
o Develop and maintain the operation skills and certification within the team.
Qualifications
• University degree or equivalent through experience,
• Senior experience,
• Experience in Maintenance & Commissioning of complex system is required. Experience in Methods, Operations, HSE is a +.
• Good technical level esp. skills in electrics, electromechanics & electronics,
• Capability to troubleshoot technical issues in a systematic way,
• French fluent / English fluent,
• Excellent communicator, open minded, good negotiator, leadership & team spirit,
• Strong analysis capability,
• High mobility required: 40-50% of the time in customer/depot visit.
