About the role:

The Product Family Change Manager is responsible and mandated to lead and control all Change Management related activities according to the Change Management directive GRP-000450 for a specific Product Family.

Functional duties to the Project Core Team

• Define, document and organize the change management multifunctional teams at Product Family level and in all Project Variants according to the Change Management directive.

• Ensure prioritization of Change Requests in cooperation with requestor and in close alignment with the Configuration Baseline strategy.

• Ensure quality of the change preparation phase considering with special care: impact on all product variants and on all functions, primary change characteristics, route cause analysis fixing, allocation of changes.

• Ensure completeness, correctness, clarity of Change Requests and that Change Management is fully integrated and serving the purpose of Contract Management.

• Organize and facilitate PF CIB Meetings.

• Ensure quality and performance of the Change Implementation phase across the product family and associated projects.

• Responsible for overall end to end change tracking.

• Risk and Opportunity Management. Owns the Risk related to changes.

Leadership duties within the Project Core Team

•Establish and maintain a resource plan necessary and enough to reach the PF functional duties.

•Ensure enough and qualified resources to reach process performance.

•Manage the Change Managers.

•Functional lead the PF Change coordinators from all functions.


• Master’s degree in any of Engineering/Project Management/Business Management, or equivalent (e.g. training/education in BT) - CM2 certification is highly desirable.

• Typically 3 – 5 years of experience in relevant role (linked to Change Management or Configuration Management).

• Experience in team management. Experience in Project Management is a real plus.

• Experience in an industry which develops standard products is a real plus.

• Profound understanding of Change Management process, Configuration Management Process and Requirements Management Process.

• Languages: French – native/advanced, English – advanced.
