About the role:

You will be a part of the Global Engineering Organization in charge of the double deck product development and performance on either a specific project or at platform level; You will lead, coordinate and contribute to the following Requirements Management activities performed by the project team along the full V-cycle phases, from the early stages of a project through to the end of the design stage, in accordance to the Requirements Management directive.

Your Tasks

• Definition of the requirements input documents from the stakeholders (except for certification notified bodies);
• Identification of the requirement in the input documents (except the certification and safety ones);
• Ensures clarification of the non “SMART” input requirements with the different stakeholders;
• Drives required versus product GAPs analysis in the bid, design, validation phases
• Ensures follow-up on Gap analysis by the responsible parties at engineering and project level.
• Drives Requirements Breakdown Structure allocation with the project team to each train level specifications;
• Verify the non „SMART“ requirements developed in the different train level; ;
• Verification of the allocation of the developed requirements to different train level including those done by the transversal performances experts;
• Follow the Change and the configuration management for requirements in all the deliverables of vehicle engineering (database and documents) based on the change and configuration management strategy of a project;
• Support the project team in the management of the Risk and opportunity of a project.
• Support the implementation of the Product Engine RM targets as defined by the Product Engine RM


• Bachelor/Master ‘s degree in Engineering
• Experience in complex engineering industries is required, railway sector is preferred
• Experience in requirements management for projects is preferred
• Experience managing and interpreting large amount of data and numbers is an advantage
• Ability to identify requirement needs expressed in a technical solution
• Change & risk management skills
• Very good influencing and communication skills
• Stakeholder management both external (customer, supplier) and internal (ENG, sales, project team…)
• Tools knowledge: Doors (IBM) Rational or Doors NG & DXL knowledge – database management – an advantage; Excel (PowerPoint)
• Fluent in English
