About the role:

Provide strong project accounting support to the site team and Operations Controller. Assist with completion of weekly and monthly Financial information. Develop standard financial tools within the portfolio of the Sales Delivery businesses. Provide Finance support to the Operations Controller in Crewe and also to the Spare Parts business team in Derby. Close collaboration and sharing of knowledge with other Project Accountants.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Month end reporting

- Responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of period end transactional process (i.e. Month End Cycle (MEC) calculation of journal vouchers, Statistical Key Figures and ReAct for all the Sales Delivery businesses);

Variance Analysis Reporting

- Assist with the reporting of the actual versus budgeted/forecasted financial situation and make it transparent for the Sales Delivery business;

Budget & Forecasting

- Support in the calculation of Budget and Forecast figures and with the input into Global FORE and local system (ERP);

Financial Governance

- Consolidation and Reporting of finance governance information (i.e. Health Check, Balance Sheet reconciliations, specific Audit packs, FX Planner);

Other

- Assist the business in data for effective Cash-Flow Management.

Qualifications

- Some experience in the field required;

- Accounting degree and/or relevant professional related qualification preferred but not mandatory;

- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP;

- Knowledge of manufacturing and /or services businesses preferred;

- Good understanding of Finance/Controlling processes and tools;

- Good analytical and communication skills;

- Drive for continuous improvement;
