Bombardier has an exciting opportunity available for a Materials/Stockroom Intern based in Dallas, TX.
In your role, you will:
- Perform a variety of routine clerical and administrative support duties: data management/input, reports
- Building books for aircraft
- Create purchase orders through SAP
- Assist stock room personnel on a daily basis
- Assist with shipping and receiving of parts
- Assist with handling of parts
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
- You are currently pursuing a degree; Technical/Trade School, Associates, Bachelors, Masters (focus on Aviation, Business, Management or Engineering preferred)
- You have basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- You have the availability to work daily, Monday – Friday between the hours of 7am – 5pm (average 20-35 hours per week)
- You have the ability to work 2nd shift or weekends if needed
- You have strong verbal & written communication skills
- You have organizational skills: ability to prioritize and work independently, meet deadlines, multitask and balance various assignments
- You have interpersonal skills: work in team of dynamic individuals, ability to remain professional through stressful situations
- You have excellent customer service skills
- You have some experience in logistics and/or shipping and receiving (preferred)
