You will therefore focus on ensuring the functional integrations of all the on-board complex sub-systems are working well together, shaping interfaces and performing trade-off studies to support the validation process.

Ensuring your functional architecture is aligned with the needs of stakeholders and suppliers, you will manage the change and configuration of all functional architecture deliverables including models and documents. Seeing to it that our systems will work together seamlessly, your high standards will ensure we maintain our reputation for outstanding trains and fantastic customer solutions on a global platform.


About you

Encouraged to learn quickly, we will give you plenty of interesting projects to get to grips with. As such, you will have hands-on knowledge in a similar role, though you won’t specifically need to have railway experience. What you will need is a commitment to understand the functionality of the whole train and not just one part. You’ll enjoy plenty of interaction with both customers and the teams who are developing software, so you’ll need exceptional interpersonal skills supported by a technical background in control of complex subsystems with a clear understanding of Model Based System Engineering. We’ll give you the opportunity to grow in this position, so if you are a self-starter with an enthusiasm for taking your concepts from design phase to the test track, then you’ll be a natural fit in our welcoming technological community.
