We are currently looking to recruit a Head of Installation, Testing & Commissioning (ITC) and Services for our location in Derby.


The Head of ITC & Services UK is the manager of the overall ITC and service delivery activities and is responsible for developing the ITC & Services function in the UK and for managing a consistent process and ensuring a uniform way of working.


Developing the ITC&Service function in the UK, recruiting staff and building competence for both Onboard and Wayside Signalling.

Playing a big role in generating new business in the UK for upcoming bids such as HS2 and Digital Railway.

Being a part of the UK management team with a focus on building the business, processes and structured way of working.

Managing the service contract portfolio for the UK. This also includes follow-up and reporting of the portfolio performance.

Managing the warranty project portfolio. This also includes follow-up and reporting of the portfolio performance.

Ensuring sufficient capabilities for Supportline (or similar), service delivery management, technical support and asset management (Maximo).

Ensuring that contract and project hand-over is performed in a smooth way.

Ensuring that long-term strategic initiatives are planned and implemented.

On an overall level ensuring that a good customer relation is maintained.

Leading development and improvement initiatives for tools, methods and processes.

Coordination with other interested parties regarding issues that have effect on service delivery activities.

Ensuring work is carried out with respect to personal safety.

Preparation of ITC and service delivery related documentation.

Ensuring that schedules for deliveries within delivery projects and service level agreements, warranty undertakings and training are well prepared and can be executed.

Ensuring that involved personnel have sufficient qualifications and authorization for their tasks.

Ensuring that involved personnel are informed about applicable regulations.

Ensuring that work is carried out according to site/off-site instructions and directives.

Managing the implementation of the service delivery activities and processes in a proper, correct and uniform manner across contracts and warranty undertakings.

Ensuring that bid support is provided.

Responsible for developing the ITCS way of working

Responsibility for Health, Safety and Environment for the personnel


A very strong experience at a senior level in the railway signalling industry.

Must be well-known in the industry with a solid professional reputation and good network.
