PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

We are currently looking for MRP Controller to join our team in Derby,UK.

The MRP Controller role is to ensure the accuracy of the MMS parametors which in turn feed through to the MRP system. The MRP Controller is responsible for creation /maintenance of the MRP material settings based on inputs provided by other functions (e.g. Engineering/ Methods or by other roles in PSC: RCM/CBE/MA) in the ERP system by implementing the Material Delivery Strategy, in line with Directive “MRP Data Settings”. He/she translates into ERP parameters the defined flow strategy for each part – Plan For Every Part (PFEP) Ensuring actions are aligned with MIS targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible to set up MRP Master data into ERP system;

• Responsible to maintain the MRP Master data into ERP system;

• Responsible to analyse the MRP run results and take corrective actions to rectify and update the ERP system, in line with confirmed inputs from relevant functional representatives (Engineering, Methods, RCM/CBE/MA etc.), as the case may be;

• Responsible to extract and solve blocked Goods transactions ("COGI”: Post-Processing of Wrong Automatic Goods Movement / Post Processing or Error Records from Automatic Goods Movements) in line with the MRP Flows;

• Liase with suppliers to create batching strategy in line with PFEP (Plan For Every Part).

Qualifications

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Higher education degree;

• Typically 2-3 years of experience;

• leadership experience is a plus

• Working experience either in Project Management, Bids, Sales, Contracts & Legal, Procurement, Engineering or Operations;

• Good knowledge in business management and software applications like MS Excel, Word, Power Point and Power BI,SAP VCM;

• Good spoken and written English;

• Ability to lead change

• Good communication skills;

• International experience.
