As a PMO for Rolling Stock projects, you’ll join us at an exciting moment of pioneering innovation. Our order book is full and our project portfolio spans brand new trains, systems and depots. Playing a pivotal role in driving our world-class reputation forward,

Your responsibilities will be in providing standards, solutions and support, all while enabling people development and gouvernance to projects and portfolios all across the Rolling Stock division. Crucially, you will provide a state-of-the-art Project Management know-how that will represent Bombardier Transportation through the numerous new build projects. Your Tasks

- As the PMO for Rolling stock projects (ROS), you will focus on enabling Project Core Teams to maximise effectiveness in this environment


- You will act as an expert in PM processes and their application, but you will also propose improvements and updates to them
- You will drive processes deployment, compliance and performance throughout the ROS organization
- On a more operational side, you will facilitate workshops for topics such as Risk & Opportunity, Lessons Learned, Project Improvement Management, and challenge projects regarding such topics as progress to closure / capture
- For each project you will work on, you will support Project Launches by setting up processes including divisional specifics, templates and procedures


- You will be responsible with evaluating and forwarding new or tool adjustment demands for tool landscape to group
- Development and deployment of Project PDCA will also form part of your frequent tasks.

People Development:

- You will not only identify training needs from business, but you will also partially support trainings when required, such as Risk & Opportunity
- To ensure the people development aspect is fully covered, you will cooperate with HR to collect the yearly training requirements and will support the development of new training developed by Group PM
- Furthermore, you will support development of PM competencies & profiles and offer support for Level 1 PM Competency Development Reviews
- If this is something that you fancy, you will also be coaching and mentoring PM staff where required


- You will drive divisional and business unit governance – Project Reporting, Gate Reviews – and will be heavily involved with audits and audit wrap-ups
- Execution dashboard: Collect information from projects, validate data, define action plans

Communications/PMO Network

- You will be the focal point to Group PM and to PMO network for Rolling Stock projects, so you will also act as an ambassador for PM
- You will enable sharing EBoK documentation – Best Practices, Lessons Learned across the projects that you will work on


- You possess a strong understanding of PMO processes and tools and you have worked in a matrix organisation before, on multiple projects. We’ve got a large portfolio of complex projects, and we expect you to be able to work on several in the same time
- You possess the skills to use a multitude of PM tools, such as Project Portfolio Reporting System (PPRS) and Risk and Opportunity Portfolio (ROP).
- You have been exposed to work in Project Management, Bids, Sales, Contract & Legal, Procurement, Engineering, Operations or Finance before
- You are at ease with communicating across a wide group of audiences – engineering communities, external customers, senior management, and you can work well within a team; you are also quite good at building relationships.
- You are degree qualified, preferably with a degree in an area relevant to PM
- Fluency in English is a must
